Step One: Manage to climb the coconut tree in the backyard and grab a ripe one (or wait till one falls to the floor and then just tell everyone you climbed the tree)
Step 2: After whacking the coconut for thirty minutes with a dull machete that you bought at a garage sale, discover that there is a hard inner shell waiting just past the hard outer shell.
Step 3: Howl in frustration
Step 4: Success. Now enjoy all the coco-nutty goodness.

no need machete, if you goin whack em for like tirty minutes cuz jus da kine em, pound em on the ground, pointed side down. da buggah goin split and den you go pull da husk off and den fo get da juice you can poke two of da tree eyes and drink em or drain em and then take da dull machete find the center of da nut just like da equator and one small kine crack from da machete and the buggah jus split right open or nex time you go one da kine sale go buy one pick and not one manini one but one beeg one. and brah if you no can read dis, go send me one e mail and i go explain em

1. Find Coconut
2. Find stick
3. Put stick in slightly open end of Coconut.
4. Bang stick with coconut on top on the ground. This will split the outer shell.
5. Crack open inner shell with hands
6. Enjoy lovely Coconut milk
